Ringmaster Residency

SCREAM IF YOU WANT TO GO FASTER!

Are you brave enough to spend a year living and working closely with the Ringmaster? You will experience low impact living and assist with basic construction work whilst tending to the sheep, walking the dogs, talking about art and doing a lot of artwork. An interest in ceramics, clay, plaster and wool fiber is an advantage. Generally you will be getting to know the Ringmaster in all their flatulent glory, throughout an intensely relaxing extended period of art-making fun.

Throughout you will experiment with costumes, develop your work and generally talk about all things art. Including seeking and participating in a variety of exhibiting opportunities.

​Ringmaster Residency is a negotiation of time and work and living. Artists applying for the residency are encouraged to consider ways in which they can support themselves financially, and pay for the residency throughout the year. Our suggestion is that you undertake no more than three days work in the local area.

It is expected that residents will be selected from interested artists who complete one of the shorter residencies.
