How much will my residency cost?​

​​

​

Throughout 2025 we are offering residential weeks that run from Saturday to Saturday. 

The dates are as follows:

March 15th-22nd
April 12th-19th
May 10th-17th
June 14th-21st
July 12th-19th
August 9th-16th

​The cost per artist for the seven day residential art week is £250, with space for up to four artists. 

If you would like to apply for one of the residential weeks (as an individual, or as a group of four), please send us a message.

What will I do?

​

You will be led through a series of (C.I.A.) experiences and artworks. Following which you will engage with a series of activities that can ultimately lead to the production of some physical artwork, performances or documentation. 

​

You will also engage in online activities with members of the (C.I.A.).

​

Throughout

  • You will be introduced to artworks created by the (C.I.A.).

  • You will have time to explore and consolidate ideas through extended guidance, and opportunities to explore the surrounding area.

  • opportunity to engage with a broader selection of artists involved with the (C.I.A.) Collective.

  • There may also be opportunity to become involved with exhibitions/events organised by the (C.I.A.)​​

Where are you?

We are located on the West Coast of Wales, in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Ysgoldy is within a small hamlet surrounded by mountains, close to the beach, on the fringe of a Celtic Rainforest.

​

Do I need anything?

  • An open mind, and enthusiasm for experimenting.

  • Outdoor clothing, and footwear are an essential part of your equipment. We are located in an area where hill walking is a necessity, and rain is inevitable.

  • Any personal medication.

  • Inform us of any dietary requirements beforehand.

  • we will give you a full list of what is needed upon successful application.
